Role description
  • Key member of the Business Resource Management (BRM) Product Control team.
  • Part of the BRM desk comprised of CVA and FVA, handling counter party credit and funding risk.
  • Manage the FVA aspect of BRM daily, coordinating across Asia, Japan, US and managing the Global Powai Hub in India.
  • Interact daily with the Global FVA head and other BRM traders in London.
  • Responsibilities include trade verification, daily PL, ad‑hoc query resolution, KRI reporting, driving change and daily flash.
  • Understand, maintain and enhance processes using XVA knowledge and controls.
  • Partner with Front Office and other control functions to build governance frameworks for bespoke and developing business lines.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
  • Product Control experience required.
  • Accounting qualification and/or numerate degree preferable.
  • Familiarity with credit, rate and FX derivatives.
  • Detailed understanding of CSA impact on derivative valuation including CVA & FVA.
  • Ability to manage relationships with senior traders, offshore teams, business managers, regulatory reporting, risk management.
  • Strong numerical and communication skills, control mindset, and initiative to identify and solve problems.
  • Confidence in discussing complex issues with senior individuals.
  • Proactive initiative to improve processes and systems.
  • Planning and organizational skills to execute priority actions on time, keep stakeholders updated and manage expectations.
