Senior Associate, Investments
The Senior Associate, Investments is part of QTS’ European Investment & Real Estates team focused on driving core growth initiatives domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities- Prepare investment materials such as investment memorandums, capital committee presentations, and proposals.
- Create and maintain financial models to evaluate development projects, acquisitions, financings (joint-venture, equity initiatives, etc.), land, and capital recycling.
- Support projects from identification through completion, including coordination of due diligence teams, model underwriting, and financing.
- Conduct calls and meetings with key internal and external constituents; partner with business leaders to communicate key financial drivers of opportunities.
- Influence and communicate with the executive team and Blackstone partners.
- Prepare and execute expense reports and check requests regularly and on time.
- Work on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives to reduce risk and improve service delivery.
- Maintain database and reports for key tracking measures.
- Maintain and update templates for legal documents, compliance documents, and policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain files and databases, including lead follow-up, and provide administrative support to improve team efficiency.
- Additional duties may be assigned; responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Three or more years of investments experience, preferably in a collaborative financial environment (banking, investment fund, real estate, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Advanced ability to build comprehensive financial models.
- Experience providing financial and analytical support to a capital-intensive business.
- Knowledge of the data center industry.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and open communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent ability to organize, interpret, and draw conclusions from large volumes of data and to present information so non-financial managers can understand it.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Enthusiastic attitude in a team environment and ability to work independently.
