Through PJT Park Hill, we provide private fund advisory and fundraising services for alternative investment managers including private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
The Private Capital Solutions Group within our Secondary Advisory Practice is one of the most experienced teams in the industry, handling complex transactions since 2008. Leveraging global relationships, we deliver superior results across the secondaries universe and focus on independent advisory and execution services to financial sponsors and institutional investors across a broad spectrum of transactions, including:
Responsibilities- Financial Sponsor Solutions: fund recapitalizations, continuation vehicles, fund restructurings, tender offers, preferred equity/other debt-oriented solutions, management team spinouts, and portfolio asset sales.
- Structured Liquidity Solutions: securitizations, refinancings of illiquid financial holdings, and joint ventures.
- Institutional Investor Solutions: divestiture of private fund interests, valuation of private fund interests, transaction structuring and execution support.
Analysts in the Private Capital Solutions – Secondaries group work directly with clients evaluating, structuring, and recommending financial and strategic alternatives. The role spans the private capital spectrum with an emphasis on private equity secondary transactions, serving as a generalist across transactions. Analysts are key deal team members, staffed directly on client teams and involved in all aspects of a transaction, including due diligence, valuation analysis, client and process management, and investor engagement.
The group’s small size and frequent cross-collaboration offers unique client exposure and close work with senior members across PJT.
- Minimum of 2 years of investment banking M&A, private equity, or secondary advisory experience (strongly preferred).
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s degree.
