RoleSummary
The Pricing Associate Director is responsible for defining and executing pricing strategy for CCH® Tagetik, Wolters Kluwer’s enterprise CPM platform. Reporting to the Head of Business Strategy & GTM, this role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and scalable monetisation across software, analytics, and services. The Pricing Associate Director partners closely with GTM, Product, Finance, and Sales leadership to embed best‑in‑class pricing practices across the full product lifecycle and complex enterprise deal environments.
Responsibilities- Define and execute pricing strategy aligned with GTM and product priorities; update pricing models and price levels for new capabilities.
- Periodically fine‑tune packaging, bundling, and monetisation design; play a key role in using pricing as a lever for migration of clients from on‑prem to cloud.
- Develop financial models, elasticity analyses, and scenario plans; analyze usage, deal, and market data to inform pricing decisions.
- Track pricing performance and drive continuous optimisation; assess willingness‑to‑pay and competitive positioning.
- Support complex enterprise deals with pricing guidance and structuring; optimise deal economics at customer P&L level.
- Enable Sales teams with discounting and pricing frameworks; balance acquisition vs. retention strategies across segments.
- Partner with Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success to influence senior stakeholders and align pricing strategy with product roadmap.
- Improve pricing processes, governance, and policy enforcement; leverage use of CPQ, CRM, and BI tools and embedded data quality.
- Drive scalable and consistent pricing practices globally.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving capability.
- Expertise in pricing methodologies (value‑based, usage‑based, packaging).
- Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills.
- Ability to translate data into actionable commercial recommendations.
- Executive‑level communication and stakeholder influence.
- Proven ability to operate in complex, matrixed global organisations.
- Strong project management, prioritisation, and execution discipline.
- Hands‑on proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and pricing tools (CPQ/CRM/BI).
- 5‑7+ years in B2B SaaS pricing, monetisation, or commercial strategy.
- Experience in enterprise software (preferably CPM / EPM / ERP or adjacent). Track record in designing and implementing scalable pricing models.
- Experience supporting complex, multi‑product enterprise deals; exposure to consulting, corporate strategy, or pricing transformation roles.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
