Financial Accountant

We're now looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team on a 9-month fixed-term contract, supporting financial reporting, compliance and accounting activities across multiple entities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of their work and partnering with stakeholders across an international business.

• Managing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end and quarterly reporting
• Providing commentary and analysis across accounts within your area of responsibility
• Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements
• Coordinating external audit activities
• Working closely with local finance teams and stakeholders on accounting matters
• Liaising with tax advisors and third-party providers
• Supporting process improvement initiatives and finance projects
• Assisting with the onboarding and integration of new entities
• Providing support on ad-hoc finance queries and reporting requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous experience within a fast-paced finance environment
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
• SAP experience would be highly advantageous
• Exposure to US GAAP and SOX would be beneficial
