An established, boutique wealth management firm is seeking a Senior Wealth Planner to join its growing team. The firm operates at the top end of the market, specialising in complex, cross-border financial planning for high-net-worth and internationally mobile clients.
This is a highly client-facing role within a collaborative “pod” structure, offering the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Senior Wealth Manager and gain exposure to sophisticated financial planning cases.
The position would suit either:
- A high-level Paraplanner looking to step into a more client-facing, technically complex role, or
- A Junior Adviser seeking to develop within a more intellectually challenging and high-end advisory environment
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end client journey, combining technical expertise with client interaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting onboarding through to ongoing client relationship management
- Attending client meetings, taking notes, and managing follow-up actions
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, delivering a proactive, high-touch service
- Preparing detailed client reports, suitability reports, and recommendation documentation
- Producing and maintaining cashflow models and financial planning inputs
- Assisting with portfolio rebalancing, performance monitoring, and investment analysis
- Preparing FX transactions and supporting multi-currency portfolios
- Monitoring client accounts and investigating performance anomalies
- Liaising with internal teams and external providers to ensure seamless service delivery
The role offers significant exposure to complex planning scenarios, including cross-border considerations, tax-efficient structuring, and high-value portfolios.
About the Team
You will join a well-established and high-performing team led by a Senior Wealth Manager who has progressed internally to Partner level. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on long-term development.
There is a clear pathway toward Wealth Manager / Adviser level, typically within 3+ years, with flexibility for high performers.
Candidate Profile
- 2–5+ years’ experience within wealth management, financial planning, or investment management
- Background in a Paraplanner, Senior Paraplanner, or Junior Adviser role
- Experience supporting client relationships and attending meetings is highly desirable
- Strong technical knowledge of financial planning and investment principles
- Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
Qualifications:
- Level 4 Diploma (or working towards) – essential
- Progression toward Chartered status advantageous

- Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 (dependent on experience)
