Location: Greater London

An award-winning private investment business is seeking an FP&A Director to join its London-based finance leadership team in a high-profile, commercially focused role.

This is a genuine leadership opportunity combining strategic planning, business partnering and advanced financial modelling. You'll lead a small team, work closely with senior executives and play a key role in shaping decision‑making across the business. Alongside ownership of core FP&A processes, you'll help drive the ongoing transformation of the finance function through automation, systems enhancements and the adoption of emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the FP&A team, setting direction and raising capability across the function.
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes.
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide commercial insight and support strategic decision‑making.
  • Deliver analysis on business performance, identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee complex modelling, scenario planning and business cases.
  • Lead cross‑functional projects focused on reporting, data, systems and process improvement.
  • Champion automation and the use of AI to enhance efficiency and insight.
  • Present clear, impactful outputs to executive stakeholders and Board‑level audiences.
Experience Required
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Strong FP&A experience gained within private investments, asset management or a broader investment environment.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure to finance transformation, systems improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Financial services experience is essential.
