Own the numbers. Shape the mission.

Our client is one of the most exciting cultural platforms operating today – a globally connected organisation dedicated to art, ideas, and critical thinking from the Middle East and North Africa. With a programme of over 120 events a year spanning exhibitions, residencies, international collaborations, and landmark talks, they punch well above their weight.

And now they need a Finance Manager who wants to do the same.

This is a rare opportunity to be the sole finance person in a dynamic, mission‑driven organisation – with real ownership, real visibility, and a direct line to the COO/CFO. No bureaucracy. No matrix reporting. Just you, your expertise, and meaningful work.

You’ll be the engine behind financial clarity: producing monthly management accounts, building detailed cost models for a rich and varied events programme, and keeping cash flow forecasts sharp so leadership can make bold decisions with confidence.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare monthly management accounts end‑to‑end (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with clear variance commentary
  • Build and own detailed cost models for 120+ events per year – venues, artists, production, travel, hospitality
  • Maintain rolling cash flow forecasts and contribute to annual budgeting and scenario modelling
  • Lead on VAT returns, year‑end accounts, and audit liaison
  • Strengthen financial controls and improve processes
Qualifications
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or significant comparable experience)
  • Strong hands‑on management accounts experience
  • Confidence with project or variable cost accounting
  • Excellent Excel skills; comfortable with Xero, Sage, or similar
  • The ability to work independently and communicate numbers clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
  • Bonus: experience in charities or arts organisations, familiarity with SORP reporting

Because you’ll matter here. Your work will directly support artists and ideas that resonate globally. You’ll sit at the strategic table, not behind a closed door. And with 120 events a year, no two months will ever look alike.

Applications welcome from all backgrounds.
