The opportunityAs fraud and financial crime become more sophisticated, EY’s Financial Crime & Forensics team works closely with financial services clients and regulators to prevent, investigate and remediate financial crime. The role supports investigation, regulatory reviews, and dispute work, with rapid career development in an international environment.
The roleAs a Financial Crime & Forensics Senior you will deliver high‑quality work on client engagements and internal projects, establish and strengthen relationships, identify business opportunities, and highlight risks to senior team members. You will help create a positive learning culture while supporting a portfolio of investigations, financial crime framework reviews, risk assessments, claims and disputes, fraud prevention and compliance programme development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the execution of investigations and related projects.
- Analyzing company accounts and financial information to identify fraud indicators.
- Managing multiple assignments and sensitive situations with precision.
- Maintaining strong relationships internally and externally.
- Strong academic record including a degree in any subject.
- Experience understanding, digesting, explaining and analysing company accounts and financial information.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Assertive and confident interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle diverse, pressing assignments and sensitive, adversarial situations.
- Critical thinking with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team.
- Professional accountancy or other financial qualification such as ICA, CFE or CAMS.
- Experience working in the financial services industry.
