A leading international organisation is looking to appoint an Indirect Tax Manager to join its well-established tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a broad role combining compliance oversight with advisory work across multiple jurisdictions, within a fast-paced and global business.
The RoleAs Indirect Tax Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing indirect tax compliance across a number of regions. Rather than preparing returns, your focus will be on review, sign-off, and ensuring robust controls
, while applying a practical and commercial lens to tax matters.
You will also partner closely with finance and wider business stakeholders, providing clear and pragmatic advice on indirect tax issues.
Key Responsibilities- Review and sign off indirect tax returns across multiple international jurisdictions
- Challenge data, assumptions, and processes with a constructive and analytical approach
- Monitor changes in indirect tax legislation and assess the impact on the business
- Identify, manage, and mitigate tax risks while enhancing existing control frameworks
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, delivering clear and commercially focused tax guidance
- Strong experience in indirect tax / VAT, ideally with some in-house exposure
- Proven background in compliance, particularly reviewing and overseeing returns
- Commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions in a complex environment
- Industry experience preferred
