Senior Consultant – Investment Firms

London | Hybrid | Investment Management & Regulatory Advisory

Cosegic’s Investment Firms practice continues to grow. We advise investment managers, private markets firms, brokers and capital markets participants on FCA regulatory obligations, prudential frameworks and complex compliance challenges. This is a role for someone who wants to take ownership of client relationships, deliver high‑quality regulatory advisory work and support the development of a high‑performing team.

The Opportunity

You will

  • Manage and develop client relationships across a portfolio of investment firms.
  • Provide regulatory advice covering FCA obligations and ongoing compliance requirements.
  • Deliver and oversee compliance monitoring reviews, audits and remediation programmes.
  • Support FCA authorisations, Variations of Permission, Change in Control and related applications.
  • Act as a subject matter specialist, providing technical guidance to clients and colleagues.

You will also:

  • Develop and maintain your client book and professional network.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and consulting methodology.
  • Mentor Associate Consultants and Consultants.
  • Support business development through cross‑selling and identifying new opportunities.

This is advisory with ownership and visible client impact.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience supporting investment firms gained in consultancy, professional services, industry or a supervisory environment.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory frameworks including MiFID, AIFMD, SMCR and the Investment Firm Prudential Regime.
  • Experience delivering compliance monitoring, regulatory projects and client‑facing advisory work.
  • Commercial awareness, stakeholder management capability and the ability to operate across multiple client priorities are essential.

This is a full‑time, permanent role worked Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis (2 days/week at home and 3 days/week in the office).
