Part-time bookkeeper temp to perm opportunity in West London

Your new company
I’m currently working with a small but rapidly growing business who are looking to appoint a reliable and hands-on part-time bookkeeper to support their finance function.

This is a really nice opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit SME environment, taking ownership of day-to-day transactional finance while also supporting the production of management information.
Your new role
Purchase & Sales Ledger Management

Processing supplier invoices and raising sales invoices
Managing supplier payments and credit control
Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Daily/weekly bank reconciliation
- Reconciling key balance sheet accounts
Transactional Finance
- Posting journals and maintaining accurate records
- Managing expenses and petty cash
Month-End Support
- Assisting with accruals, prepayments and journals
- Supporting preparation of month-end accounts
Accounts Preparation
- Assisting in producing draft management accounts
- Preparing information for year-end / external accountants
Systems & Process Improvements
- Supporting improvements to finance processes as the business grows

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a Bookkeeping / Accounts Assistant role within an SME
Strong understanding of transactional finance processes
Confident with bank reconciliations and month-end support
Experience working towards management accounts preparation
Comfortable using accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, Quick Books)
Part-qualified (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience
