Reporting into the CIO, you will represent the investment team in media engagements with journalists, clients and advisers, presenting market analyses and macro‑economic insights.
As Investment Strategist for Quilter Investors, you will collaborate with the External Communications team to build the brand through TV, radio, print and online coverage. You will co‑create content for PR and marketing – written pieces, videos, podcasts – and maintain an active presence on Twitter and Linked In.
Working with Global Partners and the in‑house investment team, you will leverage research to create compelling investment research output, positioning Quilter Investors as a source of high‑quality insight.
You will also chair Tactical Asset Allocation meetings, produce supporting material, and communicate asset positioning to stakeholders.
About YouIdeal candidates hold a CFA qualification and have substantial experience in asset or wealth management.
Strong knowledge of economics, financial markets, asset classes, ESG is required, as is confidence in discussing investment process, performance and risk. Experience with Bloomberg and Fact Set is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken – are essential; you must adapt messages quickly for diverse audiences, including advisers and consumers.
Media experience is desirable; extensive training will be provided. The role demands flexibility for early starts and late finishes linked to media bookings and news agenda.
Media contacts or a media profile are a plus. Willingness and ability to travel for industry and company events, primarily day/evening in London, with occasional national trips and overnight stays, is required.
