An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Client Accountant to join a highly respected organisation within the media and entertainment sector. Working as part of a specialist client accounts team, you will support the accurate and timely management of client finances while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external clients.
This is a varied role offering exposure to client accounting, payment processing, reconciliations, and relationship management within a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client accounting activities for a designated portfolio.
- Act as a key point of contact for client and stakeholder financial queries.
- Process payments across multiple currencies accurately and efficiently.
- Raise invoices and support VAT-related processes.
- Perform credit control activities and monitor outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unallocated receipts.
- Respond to client enquiries relating to payments, tax documentation, and account administration.
- Maintain accurate financial records and account reconciliations.
- Utilise online banking platforms to process transfers and payments.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- 2–4 years' experience within a client accounts or similar finance environment.
- Experience working with client money, professional services, media, entertainment, legal, or agency sectors would be advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident working with spreadsheets, financial systems, and databases.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently when required.
- An interest in media, entertainment, television, film, or theatre would be beneficial.
