Business Analyst – Securities Finance Technology Solutions

Role Overview

The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering requirements and ensuring successful delivery of platform enhancements and migrations within securities finance operations.

• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for platform upgrades and implementations.
• Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Support configuration of modules for inventory management, allocation engines, and lifecycle processing.
• Collaborate on integration with trading and post-trade systems, as well as reporting frameworks.
• Assist in testing, data validation, and migration activities.
• Provide subject matter expertise on securities finance processes and compliance requirements.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of securities lending, fully paid lending programs, and client asset lending operations.
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with platform configuration, static data handling, and connectivity protocols (e.g., SFTP, SWIFT).
• Lifecycle Management: Knowledge of trade capture, collateral management, and downstream settlement processes.
• Reporting & Analytics: Experience with automated reporting tools and exposure management.
• Compliance Awareness: Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines for securities finance programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

This is a fixed term contract/permanent full-time position located in London. A valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.

Due to client demand, this role requires onsite presence 5 days a week.
