CLO Analyst - Portfolio Manager's Assistant

Unique opportunity to join a growing CLO platform and work closely with their portfolio manager.

This is not a trading role, however it will provide fantastic exposure to how credit markets operate, the mechanics of CLO portfolio management, and the processes that sit behind trading, allocation and issuance activity.

Our client is looking for a junior candidate with up to 2–3 years’ experience from a rating agency, Big 4 corporate finance, transaction services, valuations or a similar credit / corporate finance environment. Candidates from audit may also be considered where they have strong exposure to financial services, credit, structured finance or complex financial instruments.

They are particularly interested in candidates who can bring a blend of CLO analytics, structured finance and corporate finance experience.

The day to day will involve supporting portfolio monitoring and optimisation, helping to create and streamline allocation, warehousing and issuance processes, coordinating research deliverables with the analyst team, and assisting with broader portfolio, market data and reporting-related work.

This is very much a growth opportunity for someone bright, detail-oriented and proactive, who is looking to gain front-office exposure within a highly regarded CLO platform. The successful candidate will work with a high-calibre PM team and gain excellent insight into the mechanics of a successful CLO business, with exposure across the wider credit market.
