Job Description
My client is an expert Financial Planning firm, specialising in Pensions, Investments, Mortgages, Life, Health and Critical Illness Insurances, dealing with both Individuals and Corporate clients throughout the UK.
We are seeking an addition the Adviser team in the London offices of the firm and are seeking an experienced Financial Planner / Chartered Financial Planner to assist the firm in generating profitable new business for the firm, from lead generation (internal & external) and identifying own sources of new business through networking, contacts and internal marketing campaigns. You will also be responsible for managing an existing book of clients and will continue to deliver ongoing Advice suited to their current and future needs.
Specific duties will include:
- Generating new business from leads handed to you by either external or internal parties, or from your own sources.
- Work with professional connections to identify opportunities
- Meet potential new clients to ascertain their current and future financial planning needs
- Provide quality Investment Advice in accordance ith current regulations and within the firms standards and procedures
- Introduce clients to the wider support team of the business
- Maintain an existing client book and retaining excising clients
- Building and maintaining a strong network of professional connections
- Identify and make suggestions to the Investment propositions and make recommendations
The successful candidate will either be an experienced Financial Planner / IFA, or a Senior Paraplanner looking to take the next step into Advice, with demonstrable experience of maintaining and developing solid client relationships & professional networks within the Financial Advice space or similar with experience in writing detailed and complex reports for various case types, with ability to assess, compare and identify critical features.
You will have a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning at the minimum and also must have the desire to become a Chartered Financial Planner and desire to continue personal development through further studies.. You will be educated to at least A level standard, with good grades.
A great salary packagewill be offered coupled with a great bonus scheme, which will be dependant upon your skills, previous experience and current qualifications.
