Investment Banking Technology, Senior Analyst

The Technology Investment Banking team at Citi is a leading franchise with deep expertise across the technology sector, covering sub‑verticals including Software, AI, Internet, IT services, Fin Tech and more. The Investment Banking Senior Analyst role is a junior level position responsible for supporting the team in providing clients with strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other types of financial transactions, as well as assisting clients in raising capital.

• Work with senior bankers on client transactions, projects, or assignments as the junior member of the Investment Banking team.
• Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials, and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals.
• Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans.
• Conduct economic/financial research and research overall industry and market trends.
• Evaluate company financial performance.
• Build complex financial models for valuation/&M&A analysis purposes.

• Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
• Strong interest to work with technology companies.
• Experience evaluating corporate transactions and structures.
• Experience evaluating and creating financial analyses, including strong financial modelling skills and valuation analysis.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience assisting with client development.
• Ability to work with teams and track business development (collect research, analyze industry trends).
• Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.

Bachelor's degree / university degree or equivalent experience at a top‑tier academic institution.
