• Support the maintenance and ongoing development of Brit’s capital modelling capability, ensuring the model remains robust, fit for purpose and delivers high‑quality outputs.
• Take ownership of the day‑to‑day operation of the capital model, working closely with analysts and actuaries to produce core outputs including regulatory capital requirements and submissions.
• Collaborate with teams across Risk, Actuarial, Finance and Underwriting to build strong relationships and develop a clear understanding of the wider business.
• Support the production of materials and communicate model outputs to senior stakeholders, translating complex results into clear and meaningful insight that supports decision‑making.
• Contribute to the enhancement and evolution of the internal model, supporting improvements to methodology, processes and tools.
• Apply strong analytical thinking to parameterisation and calibration, ensuring outputs are accurate, well‑understood and consistent with expectations.
• Embed robust controls and governance practices, ensuring compliance with internal model policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support a range of capital‑related activities, including regulatory submissions, rating agency capital calculations and scenario testing, and contribute to the wider Risk Management Framework.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, bringing ideas that enhance efficiency and add value, while contributing to both business‑as‑usual delivery and wider strategic initiatives.
