Responsibilities
- Contribute to and take responsibility for the development of segments of pricing and rating tools
- Rigorous tools developed using actuarial approach
- Positive feedback from underwriters
- Model used effectively by business users
- Develop strong working relationships with underwriting teams to develop the use of technical pricing in decision making across the business
- Appropriate usage of pricing models
- Reliable model output
- Produce case pricing as essential support for underwriters
- Underwriters understand the value in case pricing support
- Output considered a key part of decision-making process
- Assist with development and implementation of pricing controls and systems of governance, focusing on enhancing the quality and quality of pricing data capture
- Compliance with minimum standards and company policies and procedures
- All documentation accurately and promptly maintained
- High quality and efficiency of pricing models
- Pricing audits carried out as appropriate
- Support the Pricing Manager in ensuring consistency of assumptions across the department
- Consistent approach across departments
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary projects
- Work delivered within scope and on time
- Takes responsibility for own and colleagues’ health & safety at all times
- Statutory, personal and company health & safety policy regulations are adhered to
- Ensure customers are treated fairly at all times, in accordance with the Conduct Risk Policy and other relevant policies and procedures
- Compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and Lloyd’s principles (where applicable) and Antares Global policies and procedures
- Satisfactory performance as reflected in relevant Conduct Risk MI
- Be aware and adhere to all obligations under GDPR, ensuring that the business complies with these requirements
- To avoid breaches and to report them to the Data Protection Officer when they occur regardless of whether electronic or on paper
- Adherence to Antares Global policies and procedures in relation to GDPR
- Timely completion of ongoing training in relation to GDPR
- Education required for this role
