Headquartered in New York, Guggenheim offers a premier Investment Banking advisory practice. The internship, running from July through December 2026, is for students and recent graduates interested in a career in Investment Banking and working in a dynamic Financial Sponsors Group (FSG) based in London.
Essential Job Functions- Perform company and industry research and gain in-depth understanding of sector trends, client challenges, and strategies to develop innovative and creative solutions for clients.
- Prepare and participate in client presentations and transaction execution.
- Support deal teams in building, maintaining, and using financial models.
- Perform financial and valuation analysis such as discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, and multiples valuation analysis.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Investment Banking products and services:
Debt, Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Restructuring. - Interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interest for problem solving and client service.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
- Genuine interest in finance, resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm.
- Understanding of financial valuation is a plus.
- Significant level of maturity and the ability to work under pressure to meet key client deadlines as part of a small team serving top company executives and senior management.
- Highly organized and proactive, with the initiative and ability to multitask and work with limited supervision.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong extra‑curicular interests and/or achievements is a plus.

- Must be either a recent graduate, or on track to graduate from university or business school by June 2026.
