Investment Banking Analyst – London

We are currently working with a leading mid-market investment bank that is looking to appoint an Analyst to join its high-performing London team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of M&A transactions, capital raises and strategic advisory mandates alongside experienced deal makers. With strong deal flow and lean deal teams, you'll gain significant responsibility from day one and play an integral role in live transactions across a variety of sectors.

• Support the execution of M&A transactions, capital raises and other corporate finance engagements.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials.
• Prepare pitch books, Information Memoranda (IMs), management presentations and other client documentation.
• Conduct financial, commercial and industry research to support live transactions and business development.
• Work closely with senior bankers throughout the deal lifecycle, from origination through to completion.

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in M&A, capital raising, financial advisory, or transaction services preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
• ACA qualified preferred
• A strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Backgrounds in Investment Banking, M&A/Corporate Finance (Big 4 or boutique firms), or Transaction Services with strong private equity deal exposure will all be considered.
