We are looking for a Chief Actuary to lead the Tindall Riley team of actuaries. The role will include fulfilling the regulatory SMF
20 roles for Britannia and Wren.
You will lead a team of 8 and report to the Tindall Riley CFO.
Key Responsibilities:Britannia SMF
20 and Wren SMF

- To support the CFO in co-ordinating and managing the calculation of the Technical Provisions.
- To provide actuarial opinions on the Association's:
- appropriateness of the Solvencytechnical provisions
- overall underwriting policy; and
- adequacy of the reinsurance arrangements.
- To contribute to the Association's risk management, including:
- calculating the SCR and internal capital requirements, for regulatory returns and the ORSA; and
- assessing the accuracy and appropriateness of the standard formula SCR calculation for the business.
- Present findings on the above to the appropriate Boards / Committees.
Additional to SMF
20 responsibilities
- Manage the Tindall Riley Actuarial Team, including providing oversight to Pricing Function.
- For Britannia, support submission of regulatory returns, in:
- Japan
- Hong Kong
- Singapore
- Japan
- Bermuda
- US
- Chair Reserving Working Group for Hydra Insurance Company Ltd
- Support Britannia's calculation of the S&P capital model
