Oliver Wyman – Private Capital Practice – Associate / Engagement Manager

Oliver Wyman is a part of Marsh, a global leader in risk and consulting, offering management consulting services for private capital clients.

Associates will effectively break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identify the key aspects of a problem, and direct the focus of junior consultants. They will plan and execute analysis, identify core issues, craft recommendations, and work alongside clients and team members to move projects forward and manage small teams.

Engagement Managers are on‑scene leaders who run projects day‑to‑day. They lead the team through problem‑solving, ensure practical, relevant, and cohesive recommendations, and demonstrate thought leadership at the strategic level. Strong communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships are essential.

• 3‑8 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top‑tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization).
• Knowledge within Corporate Finance and Due Diligence.
• Experience across industries within Corporate, Finance and Advisory.
• Strong background in strategic problem‑solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
• Fluent in English and ideally one other language.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Willingness to travel.
• Initiative and a willingness to learn new skills and apply existing skills.
• Creativity and readiness to develop novel ideas to solve client problems.
• Analytical aptitude for identifying key issues in complex challenges.
• Willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with a talented team.
