Index Review Analyst

As part of the Index Review Team, we maintain the integrity and accuracy of indexes, and review data to ensure completeness, authenticity, accuracy and timeliness. The role involves the following:

• Conducting eligibility checks on equities potentially entering FTSE Russell indices.
• Raising any issues/concerns to the line manager and reporting exceptions in a timely manner while highlighting and recommending process improvements to enhance quality and productivity.
• Striving to constantly improve your skills through training & development opportunities.
• Supporting the onboarding of new business and documenting methodology updates accurately.

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate the effects and impact of index rebalancing/reviews on end clients through timely investigation and resolution of queries. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Committed to growing and developing a broad understanding across a range of indexes, staying abreast of market standards and common terminology.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of investment management and portfolio construction across asset classes.
• Knowledge of performance measurement and portfolio analysis concepts.
• Excel proficiency and experience with a structured programming language such as VBA or SQL.
• Relevant qualifications such as MBA in finance, financial engineering, economics or statistics.
