US Qualified Capital Markets Associate - US Firm

A prestigious US law firm is looking to hire a 2–6 PQE Associate into its growing finance and capital markets team.

The team advises on sophisticated cross-border transactions involving debt raising, acquisition finance, refinancings and balance‑sheet management. The work is international, fast‑paced and highly collaborative, with regular interaction across finance, corporate, restructuring and regulatory teams.

The role will involve advising on a range of matters, including:

• Debt financing transactions for corporate and sponsor‑backed clients
• Capital raising transactions involving institutional investors
• Acquisition‑related financings
• Refinancings and recapitalisations
• Amendments, waivers and consent processes
• Balance‑sheet optimisation projects
• Cross‑border financing structures
• Transaction management, drafting and client coordination

The successful candidate will work with a high‑calibre team on technically interesting matters, gaining exposure to both borrower/issuer‑side and financing‑source mandates. The practice offers strong partner access, excellent training and the chance to develop within a busy global platform.

The ideal candidate will have:

• US or E&W qualified - Class of 2020, '21, '22, '23, '24 or 2–6 years’ PQE from a strong capital markets, high yield, leveraged finance or US securities practice
• Experience in HY bonds, Rule 144A/Reg S offerings, debt capital markets or leveraged finance transactions
• Strong drafting and transaction management skills
• Good attention to detail and commercial judgement
• Confidence working on cross‑border matters
