Our client is a well-established private equity firm with a strong presence in Asia and an active investment strategy across buyout and growth equity. The firm partners closely with management teams to drive value creation and maintains a disciplined, long-term investment approach. This is an elite platform known for its rigorous standards and successful track record in the Asian markets.

The firm is seeking a Vice President to join its generalist private equity team. This is a key hire with significant responsibility, offering hands‑on involvement across the full investment lifecycle. You will lead deal execution, manage sophisticated work streams independently, and gain direct exposure to senior investment professionals. The role is pivotal in bridging high-level strategy with granular execution and portfolio management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading deal execution across both buyout and growth equity investments
• Conducting complex financial modeling, valuation analysis, and commercial due diligence
• Coordinating and managing third‑party advisors (legal, accounting, tax) throughout transaction processes
• Preparing and presenting high‑conviction materials to the Investment Committee
• Supporting deal sourcing and fostering relationships with founders and intermediaries
• Working directly with portfolio company management on strategic value creation initiatives
• Leading the planning and execution of exit strategies

• Experience:
  
  Currently a Vice President (or a high-performing Senior Associate ready to step up) at a buyout or growth equity fund
• Track Record:
  Strong transaction experience across the full deal lifecycle
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Elite financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
• Languages:
  
  Fluent Mandarin and English are essential for this role
• Autonomy:
  Proven ability to manage work streams independently and exercise sound commercial judgment
• Communication:
  Strong interpersonal skills for managing founders and senior stakeholders
