A well-established, highly respected hospitality business is seeking an experienced Finance Director to join its senior leadership team following a significant investment that will fuel an exciting phase of expansion.

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a growing business. With the transactional finance function outsourced, you’ll focus on commercial strategy, financial leadership, funding, governance and partnering with the executive team to deliver ambitious growth plans.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the senior leadership team, you will:

• Develop and deliver the company’s financial strategy, ensuring it supports long-term growth objectives.
• Act as a trusted commercial adviser, providing financial insight to inform key strategic decisions.
• Oversee the outsourced finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls and high-quality management information.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and long-term financial planning.
• Manage banking relationships, borrowing facilities and funding requirements to support future investment and expansion.
• Present financial performance, forecasts and strategic recommendations to the Board and investors.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, systems, processes and governance.
• Support acquisitions, new site openings and other strategic growth initiatives.

We’re looking for a commercially minded finance leader who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required. You’ll bring:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within hospitality, retail or another multi-site consumer business.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence decision-making at executive and Board level.
• Experience with in a high-growth, private equity-back or investor-back business.
• A solid understanding of banking relationships, debt facilities and funding structures.
• Experience managing outsourced finance functions or shared service providers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic, collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
