London | Aircraft Leasing & Aviation Finance

An established aircraft leasing and aviation finance platform is seeking a commercially focused Senior Manager with experience across aircraft leasing, treasury, structured finance, and transaction advisory.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an ACA-qualified Chartered Accountant with significant exposure to global aviation portfolios, capital markets activity, financing transactions, and strategic finance initiatives within a fast-paced international environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across airlines, lessors, lenders, investors, and internal finance teams, taking a leading role in transaction execution, portfolio analysis, treasury initiatives, and strategic finance projects, while also supporting business development and mentoring junior team members.

• Lead the execution of aircraft leasing and aviation finance transactions across global portfolios.
• Oversee portfolio analysis, fleet valuations, lease cash flow modelling, and financing structures.
• Partner with treasury, finance, legal, and commercial teams on funding processes, refinancing activity, and capital markets initiatives.
• Drive cash flow forecasting, liquidity analysis, and debt portfolio management initiatives.
• Lead transaction due diligence, investment analysis, and financial modelling work streams.
• Prepare and present commercial recommendations, market insights, and strategic analysis to senior stakeholders and clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, lessors, banks, institutional investors, and service providers.
• Oversee external reporting requirements, covenant compliance, and financial reporting obligations.
• Monitor aviation market trends, aircraft values, and financing developments across international markets and provide strategic insight to leadership.
• Support business development activities, including client relationship management and identifying new opportunities within the aviation finance sector.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and contribute to building a high-performing aviation finance team.
• Represent the business at industry conferences, client meetings, and aviation events.

• ACA-qualified Chartered Accountant.
• 4-7 years' experience within aircraft leasing, aviation advisory, treasury, transaction services, structured finance, or a related aviation finance environment.
• Experience working with aircraft lessors, aviation advisory teams, or aviation-focused transaction groups.
• Strong understanding of aviation finance structures, aircraft leasing dynamics, and capital-intensive financing models.
• Experience supporting or leading financing transactions, debt facilities, refinancing exercises, or capital markets projects.
• Exposure to treasury operations, liquidity management, debt portfolio analysis, or funding processes is highly desirable.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, and commercial problem‑solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Comfortable operating in a client‑facing capacity with exposure to senior management and external counter parties.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience mentoring or reviewing junior team members is advantageous.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
