Investment Banking Analyst - ACA First Time Movers

About the Role

We are delighted to partner with a highly regarded investment bank, a market leading franchise in financial services, to hire Analysts into a team that advises on high profile M&A and strategic transactions. This is a rare opportunity for a first‑time mover to transition from a Big 4 audit or transaction services team into a sustainable M&A career with direct exposure to live deal execution from day one.

• Currently within a Big 4 audit or transaction services team, working across Financial Services, Banking & Capital Markets or Insurance.
• ACCA qualified with first‑time passes.
• Senior Associate level with roughly 6–12 months of post‑qualification experience, typically performing at the top of your cohort.

• Building and maintaining financial models – valuation, returns and scenario analysis.
• Preparing client‑facing materials such as pitch books, information memoranda and management presentations.
• Driving company, sector and market research across live mandates.
• Supporting due diligence and coordinating with clients, advisers and counter parties.
• Contributing to day‑to‑day execution across the full transaction lifecycle.
