WhatYour Days Will Look Like
- Lead multi‑location teams, using your team and relationship management skills to ensure delivery of high quality audit work—from planning to completion—including the review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with PwC and regulatory standards.
- Build meaningful relationships and demonstrate curiosity to engage in insightful conversations and provide visible challenge during the audit.
- Lead on the completion of complex and judgemental audit work, including identification of issues, analysis of data, articulation of findings, and drawing informed conclusions.
- Manage the financial and resource aspects of audit engagements, demonstrating a commercial approach throughout.
- Support your team’s technical and personal development, identify areas requiring further support, and put the team first by coaching with purpose, being present with the team, and openly communicating expectations.
- Must possess a Chartered Accountant / ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience, including international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
- Has a high level of experience of IFRS and/or UK GAAP and is highly skilled in using international standards on auditing.
- Has highly developed project management skills and a strong track record of managing larger or more complex audits to the highest standard from planning to completion.
- Can communicate complex or contentious audit matters clearly and concisely in both verbal and written form to colleagues and senior client stakeholders.
- Can offer considered points of view in client conversations around broader industry topics and provide knowledgeable challenge to senior clients in the context of an audit.
