Management Accountant

Role Overview

This is a full‑time, permanent Management Accountant role based in London (Wimbledon), offering a salary between £50,000 and £55,000 per annum. The position involves preparing monthly management accounts, including journal postings, analysing monthly results against budgets and KPIs, and supporting internal reporting and financial processes. The role requires proficiency in variance analysis and reporting and is suitable for a part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with strong month‑end experience.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal postings
• Analysis of monthly results, including variance analysis against budget and KPIs
• Support with internal reporting and financial analysis across the business
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations with full supporting documentation
• Assistance with budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Contribution to statutory accounts and audit preparation
• Involvement in finance and wider business projects, including process and system improvements
• Supporting a collaborative team culture and strong internal communication
• Ad hoc duties in line with business needs

• 3–4 years’ experience in a month‑end focused finance role
• Part‑qualified or newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS)
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong communicator and confident working with stakeholders at all levels
