Pensions Specialist - £70k - London We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pensions Specialist to join our City-Based client on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong pensions knowledge who enjoys delivering exceptional service, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting members and stakeholders with complex pension matters. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in the administration and management of pension schemes, providing technical expertise and helping to maintain high standards of accuracy and customer service.

Key Responsibilities Administer pension schemes in line with legislation, scheme rules, and internal procedures. Process member events including retirements, transfers, deaths, refunds, and benefit calculations. Respond to member, employer, and trustee enquiries in a professional and timely manner. Ensure pension records are accurate and maintained to a high standard. Interpret pension legislation and provide technical guidance where required. Support regulatory reporting and compliance activities.

Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with internal teams, payroll providers, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery. Assist with pension projects, audits, and scheme changes as required. About You The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience working in pensions administration or pension operations. Strong knowledge of UK pension legislation and industry best practice. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience using pensions administration systems is desirable. Desirable Qualifications Professional pensions qualification (such as PMI or equivalent), or a willingness to study towards one.

Experience with defined benefit (DB) and/or defined contribution (DC) pension schemes. Knowledge of pension payroll processes would be advantageous. Please apply online if you are interested!
