Overview

  • Effectively and efficiently managing multiple client accounts across your designated portfolio to meet required weekly and monthly deadlines.
  • Managing between 3-5 client finance inboxes and ongoing communications with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Creating prepayment and accruals month-end schedules and corresponding journals to be posted on Xero / equivalent finance system.
  • Managing the processing of invoices through Dext (expense management software) to ensure appropriate approval chains are satisfied and each cost is correctly tagged/identified before submission to Xero / equivalent finance system.
  • Understanding the basics and core components to compile a VAT return, and what transactions are to be recorded in each box.
  • Preparing monthly depreciation journals and updating and maintaining a fixed asset register.
  • Reconciling multiple bank accounts and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address queries.
  • Raising sales invoices and implementing credit control to ensure invoices are paid on time.
  • Preparing weekly/bi-weekly/monthly payment runs and communicating with relevant stakeholders required across the approval chain.

  • AAT Level 3 or have started your certificate levels in either ACCA or CIMA
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a finance-related role
  • Proficient at Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience with Xero and/or Quick Books is ideal
  • Experience of working with a portfolio of clients is desirable
