Position: Paraplanner  - £55,000 – £60,000 base  bonus  benefits
A highly respected, prestigious wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support a dedicated book of private clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with sophisticated UK and international clients and wants a position offering technical depth, client interaction, and long-term progression. The Opportunity As a Paraplanner, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality, compliant, and well-documented wealth planning advice. You’ll work closely with advisers, act as a technical subject-matter expert, and support clients across a wide range of planning scenarios. This is not a pure back-office role, you’ll be involved in client meetings, technical discussions, and the full advice lifecycle, gaining visibility across complex client relationships.

The Role Suitability report writing - clear, compliant, technically robust Wealth planning research for UK & international clients Completing annual suitability review letters Ensuring clients understand the key features of the advice provided Producing cashflow modelling and long-term planning analysis Reviewing client risk-profiling reports Supporting advisers with technical analysis and case guidance Attending client meetings, taking notes, and following up on actions What They’re Looking For Proven experience as a Paraplanner within wealth management Level 4 Diploma (essential) with desire to achieve Chartered or Certified status Ideally 3–4 years’ experience in a similar role Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication High level of discretion and professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and external visitors Skills & Experience Strong understanding of the financial planning process and compliance Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate work first time
