Junior Credit Analyst - Hedge Fund

We are working with a leading global hedge fund seeking to hire a Junior Credit Analyst to join their investment team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop within a high-performing, research-driven environment, working closely with experienced senior investors.

The successful candidate will support a Senior Credit Analyst in conducting in-depth credit research and analysis across a range of sectors. This is a hands‑on role offering direct exposure to investment decision‑making and portfolio construction.

• Assist in fundamental credit analysis of corporate issuers across multiple sectors
• Build and maintain financial models to assess creditworthiness and relative value
• Conduct industry and company research to support investment recommendations
• Monitor portfolio positions and provide ongoing credit updates
• Contribute to investment memos and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Work closely with a Senior Credit Analyst to support idea generation and execution

We are looking for high‑calibre candidates with strong analytical ability and a genuine interest in credit markets.

• 1-4 years of relevant experience
• Background in one or more of the following:
  • Consulting / Advisory (Big 4 or similar)
  • Transactions / Deals / Restructuring
  • Audit (any sector)
  • Investment banks or buy‑side firms.

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Solid understanding of credit fundamentals and financial statements
• Intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in credit investing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high-performance environment

• This is a Developed Markets focused role
• Sector experience is flexible; candidates from all sector backgrounds are encouraged to apply
