Client Services Associate, German Team

The role of Client Services Associate involves liaising closely with the EMEA Client Services Team and managing the operational aspects of GLAS client transactions including Loans and Bonds. Each member is responsible for a specific portfolio of Loans/Bonds and is the primary operational contact for Borrowers and Lenders.
Responsibilities- Managing drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixes, pre-payments, redemptions and maturities.
- Inputting relevant data into the Solvas system.
- Generating and sending notices to Borrowers and Lenders within specific time frames.
- Receiving and checking SSIs, initiating callback process where necessary.
- Managing funds flow between Borrowers and Lenders.
- Making payments through , arranging foreign exchange transactions where appropriate.
- Calculating and paying principal repayments, interest, commitment and other fees (including PIK and non‑pro rata events).
- Reconciling accounts.
- Handling transfers ensuring requests comply with transaction documentation and collecting transfer fees.
- Understanding deal documentation for system input or responding to Borrower/Lender queries.
- Responding to client queries in a timely manner.
- Handling audit requests.
- Escalating relevant matters to Team Leader or Managers promptly.
- Conducting due diligence regarding potential fraud, money laundering, and financial/reputational risk.
- Proven examples of working to tight deadlines.
- High degree of detail and strong organisational skills.
- Previous experience with Solvas desirable.
- Desirable degree in finance or business related field.
- German language skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of a growing business.
- Capability to represent GLAS to high standards and expectations at all times.
