Position Summary

GBS Finance Transformation Lead – Full Time, Hybrid London with 50% travel to Derby, Krakow and Indianapolis or Derby with 50% travel to London, Krakow and Indianapolis. This secondment opportunity is available until 31/03/2027.

Responsibilities
  • Drive and deliver the agreed transformation (simplification, standardisation, and automation) of Invoice to Pay within the Fix the basics program.
  • Ensure the transformation roadmap and objectives align with Finance strategic goals, are feasible and future‑proof.
  • Review resourcing needs and give feedback on Organisation Design proposals, ensuring role profiles and job descriptions align with global Finance design and capture the key competencies and experience required.
  • Embed new governance, including KPI and SLA reporting.
  • Liaise with Finance operations leaders in GBS and Internal Control to harmonise processes and enhance controls.
  • Support updates to process documentation and ensure knowledge material produced is of suitable quality and accessible.
  • Build trusting, collaborative relationships with finance stakeholders and act as the first point of escalation for transformation issues and risks.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Qualified accountant – ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent international qualification.
  • Demonstrable finance transformation experience in STP delivering solutions covering people, process and technology.
  • Technology savvy with proven experience in SAP, BW and automation tools.
  • Global GBS experience.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Clear communication tailored to the audience and circumstances.
  • Attention to detail, ability to see the bigger picture, and ability to assess risk and recommend solutions.
