Accounts Payable Finance Officer

Salary: £24.54 umbrella / £22.14 PAYE Inclusive / £19.75 PAYE Exclusive

- Process funding and supplier payments accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain and update SAP records, financial data, and payment schedules, reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Communicate with schools regarding payments, queries, and financial information.
- Support reporting and administrative finance tasks and ensure compliance with financial procedures and audit requirements.
- 2 years of experience in a finance role within a local authority or school setting.
- Knowledgeable on IT, including Excel, and a minimum 1 year of experience using SAP.
- Effective communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Referrer receives a £250 bonus after the referral completes probation.
