Purpose of the role: In joining Affinia, you will be part of a growing, successful, forward‑thinking and dynamic Tax department. This role is designed for an experienced corporate tax or transaction tax professional who wants to play a key role in building and delivering Affinia’s transaction tax offering.
As a Transactions Tax Manager / Senior Manager, you will work closely with Directors, Partners, Corporate Finance, Accountancy & Advisory, Audit, VAT, Employment Tax, Property Tax, Private Client and other specialist teams to provide joined‑up advice on acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and wider corporate transactions.
The role will involve supporting clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, from initial planning, proposal stage and offer terms, through to tax due diligence, acquisition structuring, completion, post‑deal implementation and ongoing advisory support.
You will work with a broad range of clients including owner‑managed businesses, family‑owned companies, entrepreneurial clients, corporate groups, management teams, investors, acquisitive businesses, professional advisers and, where relevant, private equity backed or PE‑adjacent clients.
This is an advisory‑led and commercially focused role. You will be expected to deliver high‑quality technical work, lead client relationships, support business development, contribute to the growth of the Tax Service Line and help develop junior colleagues.
