Corporate Finance and Industrials:
Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Finance business offers advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, activist shareholder strategies, and related advisory services. The Industrials Group focuses on M&A advisory, capital raising, restructuring, and valuation with a team approach and senior involvement in client projects.

The Industrials team at Houlihan Lokey are looking to add a Financial Analyst in London. The environment is collegial and entrepreneurial, with teamwork essential to the firm's success. Creativity and new ideas are encouraged.

• Prepare, analyse and help explain historical and projected financial information
• Create financial models
• Coordinate and perform business due diligence
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations
• Conduct research on sectors, companies and potential buyers
• Value companies and businesses
• Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors
• Assist in planning of engagements

• Strong academic track record and achieved at least a 2:1 Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• 1-2 years of full-time investment banking experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A); experience in the Industrials sector is favourable
• Demonstrable experience in executing sell-side transactions
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory
• Excellent understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations
• Excellent understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with team members
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects and hit deadlines in a highly organised manner
• An independent, solutions-focused mind-set
• An exceptional work ethic
• Fluency in European languages is strongly favourable (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian)
