Cost Management Analytics, Financial Planning and Analytics – Mat Cover

Responsibilities

• Support an Asia-based financial-services group
• Preparation, analysis, and presentation of PnL cost analytics
• Provide insight into data to support understanding of cost drivers
• Support the production of costs deck for the regional CFO/ CAOs
• Business partnering with various stakeholders
• Perform analyses/scenario-based modelling
• Prepare materials to support analysis and discussion
• Liaise with CMA colleagues on analysis, projects and ad hoc issues
• Work closely with project teams
• Support with year-end budgeting and rolling monthly forecasting
• Seek opportunities to automate processes and drive improvements

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Relevant experience of FP&A or Cost analytics
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Honest and ethical conduct
• Good organisational and multi-tasking skills

• Proactive in taking ownership of new projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Office desirable (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase desirable

Demonstrates expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and cost analytics, with a strong focus on data-driven insights and stakeholder collaboration. Proficient in preparing detailed financial presentations and automating processes to enhance efficiency.
