FP&A Director

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team is currently seeking an FP&A Director based out of our London office. Working closely with a Finance Senior Director, this role involves providing financial insights and support to the BMI business within Fitch Solutions.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the BMI business and its strategic objectives and how they relate to financial planning activities.
• Manage monthly performance reporting with full accountability.
• Actively participate in management meetings and take ownership for Finance related issues.
• Be the focal point for all BMI related Finance issues and the ‘go to’ person for the BMI senior management team to resolve Finance queries.
• Ownership for the creation of budgets and forecasts, providing insight and detailed analysis.
• Prepare analyses and provide actionable insights for senior management on emerging issues.
• Work with senior stakeholders to develop the financial assumptions and models which underpin new ideas and investment initiatives.
• Gain a detailed understanding of key business performance metrics as they relate to client sales activities, contract values, discounts, product mix evolution and product profitability.
• Proactively seek ways to enhance, streamline, and automate existing processes.
• Function as a reliable Business and Finance partner to the Fitch Solutions Management Team and Group Finance/Accounting.
• Working with senior stakeholders to influence major financial decisions.

• Fully Qualified Accountant.
• Previous experience in FP&A Roles with a desire to continue this development.
• Problem‑solving abilities utilizing available resources effectively.
• Expertise in financial software applications, including Excel, Powerpoint, ERP systems and AI Tools.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data.
• Previous experience creating Financial Models and use of business intelligence tools.
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders.

• Relevant previous FP&A experience.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Good technology skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good Data Visualization.
