Main Purpose of the RoleThis role supports the Client Support team in planning and executing client‑management activities across both MUFG Bank London and MUFG Securities. As a key point of contact, you will manage end‑to‑end onboarding and other lifecycle processes, ensuring a superior client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary contact for end‑to‑end onboarding coordination, working with KYC, Legal, Credit, Regulatory and operational teams.
- Identify and implement solutions to reduce time‑to‑market for onboarding.
- Seek opportunities to improve the overall customer experience.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of key systems and end‑to‑end processes across MUFG Bank and Securities.
- Coordinate with internal teams on lifecycle activities such as account opening/closing, RMA set‑up, mandate changes and other operational set‑ups, with direct client interaction for onboarding.
- Maintain and publish meaningful management information (MI) for Client Support Activities.
- Prepare GCARS (internal Credit System) applications, ensuring accurate financial statement input for borrower ratings and correct facility details for credit applications in new transactions.
- Track team applications through the credit lifecycle, ensuring timely completion and liaising with Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, etc., for additional information as needed.
- Prepare funds liquidity, fee notifications and fee accruals for new transactions.
- Essential:
Proficient in Excel and Word; relevant industry or support‑team experience. - Preferred:
Additional experience in credit or regulatory support functions. - Education:
Minimum A Level or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Good multitasking and task‑management skills; ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (data manipulation, lookup functions, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (clear, concise, well‑formatted reporting).
- Exceptional attention to detail and self‑motivation to find solutions.
- Strong communication skills and a results‑driven, accountable approach.
- Ability to operate with urgency, prioritise work, and manage large workloads under tight deadlines.
- Structured, logical, and creative problem‑solving abilities.
- Good interpersonal skills and the capacity to perform under pressure.
The role holder will be assessed in accordance with the employing entity’s performance framework, with input from the relevant dual‑hatting entity. Duties may evolve, and the description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the role holder.
Conflicts of Interest and Working TermsThe holder will operate on an entity‑neutral basis for both MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc, adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining legal entity integrity. Flexible working arrangements may be considered in line with organisational requirements.
