The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the initiation, preparation, processing and execution of Global Structured Finance transactions for the Group’s private corporate and institutional (including government) clientele and thereby facilitating growth and expansion of the corporate banking business.

He / she will act as one of the Transaction Officers who will be required to support the timely and proper execution of Global Structured Finance transactions assigned to the team by the Regional Head Global Structured Finance or the SVP Corporate & Institutional Banking. He / she will also be responsible for undertaking special tasks and assignments given by the VP Global Structured Finance.

• Shareholder & Financial:
• Participate when required, in the formulation and implementation of strategies, business plans and budgets of the Unit in line with overall objectives of QNB Group.
• Support the VP Global Structured Finance and the SVP Corporate & Institutional Banking in the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Meet the assigned target budget and achieve all volume, revenue, and profit targets for Global Structured Finance related transactions in accordance with QNB’s overall corporate banking budget and strategy.
• Support credit related decision-making process by ensuring availability of sound and quality information/ analysis necessary for accurate credit risk assessment and mitigation.
• Observes and promotes cost consciousness and efficiency, and enhance productivity, to minimize costs, avoid wastes, and optimize benefits for the bank.
• Manage all assigned transactions and products to maximize product potential and profitability.
• Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent.
• Customer (Internal & External):
• Assists with collection, analysis and storage of relevant business, financial and operational information on the Unit’s borrowers, transactions and bank counter parties and correspondents as required by KYC and other bank and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Conducts proactive gathering, analysis and reporting of market and business information (current market conditions and trends, competitor actions, customer preferences as well as other market and industry developments) through regularly interaction with key market participants (banks, major corporations, government entities) to collect general market…
