Chief Risk Officer

As we continue our expansion, we’re looking for a CRO to own our risk process, you’ll be reporting directly executive team and drive our risk strategy as we continue to grow.

Ideally with experience working with a start up and enjoy an environment which moves quickly with lots of autonomy.

• Introduce and oversee risk models and evolve the enterprise risk framework to match our growth and risk appetite
• Working closely with the senior executive team to help them shape the company's risk culture and pragmatic methods to put in place
• Ensure the firm meets its obligations under the FCA Consumer Credit source book (CONC) and similar obligations
• Maintain oversight of the firm's compliance with FCA Principles for Businesses, SYSC requirements
• Monitor regulatory developments - including the FCA's ongoing motor finance commission remediation programme and any resulting redress obligations - and ensure the business is positioned to respond.
• Own relationships with the FCA and other regulators (e.g. Financial Ombudsman Service, ICO) including regulatory returns, notifications and examinations.
• Oversee financial crime risk (AML, fraud, sanctions)
