Capital Actuary

Bolton Associates is working with a well-performing and growing specialty London market (re) insurer that is seeking a senior actuarial analyst to support their capital modelling team.

This role includes a variety of responsibilities and offers hands-on experience in capital modelling, from building, operating and maintaining the Tyche capital model to supporting the production of risk and capital analytics to support key decisions such as business planning or reinsurance strategy.

The ideal candidate will be part-nearly qualified with 2-4 years of non-life capital modelling experience. Those from a personal lines background eager to transition into the London market will also be considered. They are looking for someone with an inquisitive mindset, an interest in coding and new technologies, and a solid knowledge of general insurance. It's a great opportunity for someone at this level looking for a step up to take on more ownership of tasks.
