Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Greater London

Healf Is Europe's Fastest-growing Company.

Number one on the FT1000, number one on the Sifted 100. From £1m to over £100m in under three years, with a small, talent-dense team and an electric culture with day one founder intensity. Now we're aiming for £1bn in the next three.

We curate the world's best wellbeing brands across The Four Pillars™: EAT, MOVE, MIND, SLEEP. That's the first chapter.

The next chapter is harder and more interesting.

We are moving from one market to many, from e-commerce to a technology platform, and from curating wellbeing to defining it. We are a health company, so we think we should act like one.

At its fullest expression, Healf redefines what wellbeing means for tens of millions of people.

None of that scale happens by instinct alone. Behind the leap from £1m to £100m — and the one we're planning next — sits a finance function that turns ambition into numbers we can stand behind. As Healf moves from e-commerce into a technology platform, the cost base gets bigger, and the decisions get sharper.

This is where you come in.

Role Purpose

As Healf scales internationally and operates multiple regions and business units, disciplined control of operating costs, capital expenditure, and cash-related balances becomes critical to financial integrity and performance.

This role exists to own the financial control, reporting, and forecasting of OPEX and CAPEX within management accounts, ensuring costs are accurately recorded, well understood, and tightly controlled. In parallel, the role acts as a finance business partner to cost centre owners, supporting planning, forecasting, and decision-making while maintaining strong control standards.

The Management Accountant – OPEX & CAPEX Control sits firmly within Financial Control, working closely with Commercial Finance, the People team, and the Finance Systems & Data Lead to ensure cost and headcount data is accurate, consistent, and scalable.

Core Responsibilities
  • OPEX & CAPEX Financial Control
    - Own the financial control and reporting of OPEX and CAPEX across all cost centres and functions. Ensure costs are accurately coded, accrued, reviewed, and reflected in management accounts. Maintain robust cost centre structures and enforce consistent application across the business.
  • OPEX & CAPEX Planning, Forecasting & Partnering
    - Own OPEX and CAPEX planning and forecasting at cost centre level, partnering with Commercial Finance to ensure forecasts are grounded in actuals and optimise our capital allocation. Partner with cost centre owners to explain variances, challenge assumptions, and support efficient cost management.
  • CAPEX Financial Control & Reporting
    - Own CAPEX accounting, reporting, and related balance sheet positions, including asset registers, depreciation, and reconciliations. Ensure capital spend is accurately recorded, aligned to approvals, and reflected correctly in management accounts.
  • People Cost & Headcount Control
    - Own financial control and reporting of people costs at cost centre level. Partner with the People team to ensure payroll and headcount data is accurate, controlled, and aligned to management accounts. Provide reliable people cost actuals and forecasts to feed headcount reporting and the forecast owned by Commercial Finance.
  • Systems-First Cost Control
    - Apply a systems-first mindset to OPEX and CAPEX control, prioritising automated posting, accruals, and reporting over manual workarounds. Work closely with the Finance Systems & Data Lead to ensure cost centre structures, planning logic, and reporting are embedded in systems.
  • Interface with Commercial Finance
    - Provide accurate, timely OPEX, CAPEX, and people cost inputs to Commercial Finance. Ensure alignment between management accounts, forecasts, and performance reporting.
What You’ll Bring
  • Newly qualified, or in the final stages of ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Experience in a similar role and industry, with real ownership of OPEX, CAPEX, or cost centre reporting.
  • A solid grounding in accruals and balance sheet control.
  • Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders on cost planning and spend decisions, and confident enough to challenge them.
  • Some exposure to people costs and headcount…
