Experienced Analyst – Investment Banking, Technology & Services

Position Summary Guggenheim Securities (“GS”) is seeking an exceptional Analyst to join its Technology & Services Investment Banking group based in London. Our London-based Technology & Services team is an integral part of GS’ global franchise and leads the coverage and execution of transactions for companies across Europe. The group advises clients on a broad range of financial and strategic matters, including mergers and acquisitions, equity/equity‑linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and private capital raises.

Analysts at GS are valued members of lean, high‑performing deal teams. You will work closely with senior bankers on live transactions and strategic advisory assignments, gaining exposure to clients and helping to drive execution from day one. The role is suited to candidates with a desire to build a long‑term career in investment banking with a view to earning a promotion to Associate at the culmination of their Analyst program.

• Support execution of M&A and capital raising transactions across the Technology & Services sectors
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials and marketing documents
• Support deal teams in developing, maintaining and using complex financial models and valuation analyses under guidance from senior team members
• Draft internal and client‑facing materials including memoranda, management presentations, and marketing content
• Conduct company, market, and sector research to support deal execution and business development
• Collaborate with deal teams and external parties including clients, lawyers, and accountants throughout the transaction process
• Management of several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team

• Minimum of 1 year of investment banking or equivalent M&A experience
• Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Commitment to meet the demands of high volume and high‑end client services
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in finance
• High level of maturity, attention to detail, and ability to work with external executives and senior management
• Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple work streams under tight deadlines
• Desire to join a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial platform

• Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• Core modeling and valuation experience in professional setting

Currently, this role is expected to be in the London office at least 4 days per week.
