Finance Officer

Our client, based in North London, is currently recruiting for a Finance Officer on a six-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start in line with the successful candidate's notice period, ideally during the week commencing 10th August, on a full-time basis. The day rate is negotiable depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working within an Accounts Receivable function, excellent reconciliation skills, and experience using finance systems within a busy finance environment.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing the cash book, ensuring accurate posting and reconciliation of all transactions
• Reconciling incoming income, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting the Donor and Fundraising teams by processing and allocating grants and donations
• Working closely with the Legacy team to allocate income accurately and resolve outstanding queries
• Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Posting cash book transactions and reconciling petty cash and control accounts
• Raising and processing supplier invoices in line with company procedures
